On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, an Open House was held at City Hall for those interested in learning more about the city’s pursuit of a grant available through TxDOT to build a Shared-Use Pathway throughout the City of Horseshoe Bay. A full house left us with over 80 signatures of support from the community. Presenters were Kelly Kaatz of the Transportation Committee, Jeff Koska City Manager and Sally McFeron Director of Development Services. The discussion allowed for community input and the overall feeling was positive. Many citizens voiced the need and excitement around the ability to traverse the city as a pedestrian or cyclist. Currently, the Transportation Committee is in the second phase of the application process which includes documentation of community feedback.
