  • Yes, the fire department offers CPR and AED classes to citizens of Horseshoe Bay and our contract communities of Oak Ridge, Blue Lake, and Deerhaven at no cost. Please call 830-598-6953 to begin the scheduling process with our instructor.

    The City of Horseshoe Bay is a partner with the Capital Area Council of Governments and is pleased to offer an emergency notification system to residents of Central Texas. Registering with WarnCentralTexas.Org allows the City of Horseshoe Bay, Llano and Burnet County Officials, and CapCog officials to contact our communities by phone, email, and text during times of disasters or public safety events. 


    The City of Horseshoe Bay uses CivicReady to send mass emergency and non-emergency notifications to subscribers via email, text message, and voicemail to keep citizens safe and informed. During a local emergency, residents subscribed to CivicReady will benefit from immediate, actionable information sent via their preferred notification methods.
